Our Story

It Started With Two Moms, Two Babies, and a Question

MommyVerse began with two women who had already worked together before motherhood entered the picture.

Melda, a freelance digital marketer and social media strategist, and Amira, who comes from a sales and marketing background, first worked together in 2022. At the time, neither of them imagined that their work would eventually grow into a partnership.

Then, in 2024, they both became mothers.

Like many women navigating this new chapter, they wanted to be present for their babies while still being able to contribute financially to their families. They knew that motherhood had changed their priorities, but it did not erase the skills, experience and ambitions they had built over the years.

The question became: How can we continue to earn, grow and contribute while raising our children?

From Career Experience to Something of Their Own

The idea of MommyVerse started taking shape after they attended Smart Mom Career Break by The Mom Tribe in 2025.

By then, people had already started approaching them for their digital marketing and content services. Their experience as KOLs for brands had also given them an understanding of how brands communicate with audiences and how social media can be used to build visibility.

They began noticing something else.

Many mompreneurs had great products and businesses, but struggled with the digital side of marketing. And as mothers themselves, Melda and Amira understood that finding the time, confidence and resources to manage social media while raising children was not always easy.

They realised they could help.

Canva Was Already Part of Their Story

Canva wasn’t something they discovered when MommyVerse began.

They had been using it for years to create content, posters and marketing materials, and those simple designs had actually helped them earn money.

That experience sparked an idea.

There were many mothers going through a similar transition: women leaving or taking a break from corporate careers to spend more time with their babies, but unsure where to begin when it came to earning again.

Many of these women came from different industries and had years of professional experience.

What if that experience could become something valuable for someone else?

That became the foundation for Canva for Mommies.

Instead of simply teaching mothers how to use Canva, MommyVerse wanted to make the learning practical.

The goal is simple: come into a class, create on the spot, and leave with at least a draft of a digital product based on your own knowledge or experience, something you can continue developing and eventually monetise.

Because we believe every working woman has something she knows that someone else needs to learn.

Then the Mommies Asked, “Can You Help With My Social Media Too?”

As MommyVerse grew, the requests evolved.

Some mothers didn’t just want to learn how to create content, they wanted someone to help them manage their digital presence.

So MommyVerse expanded to offer social media marketing and content support for mompreneurs, helping them focus on their business while we handle the digital marketing side.

It’s a natural extension of what Melda and Amira have already been doing professionally.

And Then Came Stroll & Spill

One evening, Melda and Amira were simply pushing their babies in their strollers together at the park.

And another idea came naturally:

Why not create a space where other mothers could do the same?

Mothers need time outdoors. Babies need time in nature. And sometimes, a simple morning walk is all it takes to step away from the daily pressure, breathe, watch the sunrise and have a conversation with someone new.

That became Stroll & Spill, a small, intimate community gathering where mothers can walk, bring their little ones, meet other mothers, share stories and build connections.

It also creates an opportunity for brands and mompreneurs to connect with a real, growing community in a more personal way.

Melda loves travelling and discovering new places. Amira loves nature and the ocean. So the idea of bringing mothers together through experiences, movement and the outdoors felt very much like them.

Why MommyVerse Exists

MommyVerse is built around a simple belief:

Motherhood doesn’t mean a woman has to stop growing.

We want to connect mothers, uplift one another and create opportunities for women to build skills, explore new ways of earning, and develop financial awareness for themselves and their families.

We’re not here to tell mothers they need to build a huge business.

Sometimes, it’s simply about starting with one skill.

One idea.
One digital product.
One new connection.
One morning walk.

And sometimes, that small beginning can become something much bigger.

It Takes a Village

We believe that raising children takes a village, and mothers need a village too.

MommyVerse is our contribution to that village.

A place to learn, create, earn, connect and grow, together.

Whether you’re a mother with an idea, a mompreneur who needs digital marketing support, a preschool owner looking to introduce digital literacy through Canva for Kids, or a brand looking to connect with a meaningful community, we’re open to building something together.

Because when mothers are supported, the whole village grows.
